DOTS: Rally Edition Golf R?

So apparently my neighbor modified a bull bar onto his MK6 Golf R. Hmm, so would this be rally style? Idk, but I don’t hate it. It’s sitting on some fifteen52 snowflake wheels which look good, I love that brand.

What does Oppo think? Bash bar good or no?

I'd like the wheels more in any other color than black, and without the white stripe. Bash bar.... Nah. It'd be one thing if it had knobby tires, lights, and the whole safari look, but on an otherwise stock looking golf it's a bit out of place.

Yeah I kinda wonder if he’ll do anything else since this bash bar just came out of no where. Agree on the black wheels.

I realize I’m in the minority here, but man do I dislike heavy tints on a vehicle that’s supposed to be about driver engagement. I can’t imagine losing that much situational awareness during the day, let alone at night...

I’ve never had tints on any of my cars. I think it in part due to my dads hatred to tinted windows, but I’ve always wanted to do it tastefully. 5% or similar annoys me, it’s so bad at night.

This would be an excellent way to devalue a car. Unless they are actually rallying it (which I doubt).
